This was the partnership’s first win by the LGRS team and the team looks forward to many more for Rakesh and Zeyn.
Black Pepper made amends for his first run’s defeat at Flamingo Park in Kimberley when he stayed on resolutely to win the MR66 1000m event, on Monday 2nd June 2014.
Vigorously ridden by log leader and champion elect S’Manga Khumalo, Black Pepper is owned by Rakesh Singh and Zeyn Kirsten and was confidently tipped to win by his namesake, Tellytrack presenter Gareth Pepper.
