The Flying Nun broke the ice for the LGRS team and Mr and Mrs Jooste at Vaal on thursday 2nd Jan 2014. Doing it the hard way, from start to finish over 1400m, The Flying Nun rallied gamely in the closing stages under a brilliant ride from Piere Strydom.
The LGRS team extended their thanks and appreciation to Mr and Mrs Jooste for the support and look forward to many more wins in the famous silks.
Derek Brugman who is the Racing Manager for the famous Mayfair Speculators was also thanked for his patience and support.
