Miss K showed her rivals a clean pair of heels over 1600m at Vaal Sand on Saturday 31st August, 2013. The game and gutsy filly was again partnered by Deon Sampson and the two of them have proven to be a formidable combination over the last few months.
Owned by Cape based Keith Steinberg, Miss K was sent to compete on sand because of her Cape trainer, Riaan Van Reenen, who was convinced that she would be successful. Old friend Harold Crawford suggested the LGRS team. We thank Keith Steinberg for his patronage and Harold Crawford for suggesting us as the yard. We congratulate Riaan Van Reenen on making the call and sending Miss K up here in great condition last year.
