MAESTRO!
Piere Strydom has perfected the art of understanding his mounts and when to
push the buttons in a race. and when he presses those buttons, he becomes
one with his mount. Win, lose or draw, he is a pleasure to behold.
On Tuesday night 27th January, 2015, Piere guided the LGRS trained Seventh
Symphony to her second win in a row over the 1000m Turffontein Standside
Course, after dictating the pace and beating the field with speed under
Piere's impeccable timing, judgement and balance.
Of the partnership, Mike Whittstock, Devin Badal and Warren Van Der Vyver
were on course to lead in their winner. The rest of the partnership were out
of town.
Seventh Symphony was another winner bred by The Alchemy and the Kahan family
have kept a share in her. We will be shouting the Alchemy bred, Louis The
King, home on Saturday in the J&B Met.
