It's not often nowadays, that any horse can chalk up 5 wins in a row, but Trip Tease notched up his 5th consecutive win at Vaal Sand on Thursday 19th June 2014 over 1000m.
Slightly slow away, the 3 yo son of Trippi recovered and set about reducing the deficit and then responded gamely to win going away in the last 100m.
Deon Sampson rode a confident and superbly judged race, making it 4 wins from 4 rides on the Soru family's top class gelding.
Due to the handicappers unwarranted penalties imposed upon Trip Tease's Turf rating, he will have to continue racing on Sand.
