De Var Hyt recorded a good win for the LGRS team, over 1000m at Turffontein on Sunday 3rd August 2014.
Piere "Striker" Strydom rode to son of Var, timing his run to perfection.
De Var Hyt was the first runner for the season from the LGRS team and for the Soru family who own him.
De Var Hyt was rewarded for his consistency over the last few months and the little horse with the big heart could still have another win in the tank.
