WELL PLAYED SAM!
Play-Play recorded his 3rd career win at Kimberley on Monday 1st September, 2014 over 1400m, after stable assistant Sam Mafaka saddled him at Flamingo Park.
A battling maiden in Gauteng, Play-Play took a liking to the Kimberley surface since raiding there from Vaal, which is the closest training centre to Kimberley.
Since end June 2014, Play-Play has raced 5 times in Kimberley for 3 wins, a 3rd and a 4th place. Gunther Wrogemann stood in for Deon Sampson after some of the jocks, who were sharing a ride to Kimberley had a mechanical breakdown on their car.
Play-Play is owned by stable stalwart Claude Comaroff and by “newbie” owner, Tony Byleveld who now has 3 winning photos to boast of!
