WHAT’S NEW?
Niebelung continued the LGRS run of form at Kimberley on Monday 1st September 2014, over 1800m, when he won a good race under a good ride from Craig Zackey, who stood in for Deon Sampson.
With no maiden race available on the day, the LGRS team elected to run him in open company, off his low merit rating. This paid off and after being handily placed, Niebelung won going away.
Owned by Mr Mario Ferreira, whose string is managed by Mr. Des Gonsalves, Niebelung is a leggy sort and late maturer. More is expected in time, from the Wilgerbosdrift bred son of Right Approach.
