American Pie rounded off a good day at Kimberley on Monday 1st September 2014, when completing a treble on the day, for the LGRS team, leaving a sweet taste in the mouths of the LGRS followers.
The speedy little daughter of “special” sire, Var, was slightly slow away at the start of the 1000m dash, but soon got into the race and dominated from then onwards, to the line.
Owned  by stable stalwarts, Brett Parker and Claude Comaroff, the Avontuur bred filly will surely pick up another race or two in similar company.
