CHEERS!
Cheers is what we normally say after an Avontuur bred winner. Like their
fine wines, the Avontuur bred racehorses are a pleasure to own and celebrate
with. And any son or daughter of Var is always welcome in our yard!
Deon Sampson rode a brilliant race at Turffontein on Saturday 18th October,
2014, in the MR76 1000m dash for fillies on Claude Comaroff and Brett
Parker's Var filly, American Pie. Waiting until the very last second, Deon
set her loose and kept the filly going to the line.
