Ruling favourite, coming from some solid form, the Soru family's 3 year old Trippi gelding, Trip Tease, was always going to be the one to beat on Saturday 15th March 2014 at Turffontein Inner Course over 1000m.
Handily placed early on by Deon Sampson, and sent about his business early in the short run to the line, Trip Tease responded gamely to win a good race, against some hard knocking, older rivals.
Bought "for a song" by the Soru family and LGRS team because of his conformational issues, Trip Tease has now returned 2 wins, 1 second and 2 thirds from his 5 runs.
